Website hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare also provides its domain name service and security network. When you open it, technical data such as your IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and referrer may be processed in server logs. This is necessary to deliver the site securely and reliably.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in providing a secure, functional website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is kept only as long as needed for security and operations, subject to Cloudflare’s configured retention periods. Cloudflare acts as a service provider and may process data outside the EEA using an applicable adequacy decision or other safeguards recognised under the GDPR.

No trackers or third-party resources

Fonts, scripts and images are served from regnite.io itself. The site loads no analytics, advertising trackers, third-party fonts or embedded content.

Booking a call

The “Book a call” links open my booking page on Cal.com, a scheduling service run by Cal.com, Inc. If you book, Cal.com processes the details you enter, such as your name, email address, the chosen time and any notes, and shares them with me so we can hold the call. Cal.com’s own privacy policy applies to its pages.

I use booking details only to prepare for and hold the call and any follow-up you ask for. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, as the call is a step before a possible contract, and otherwise my legitimate interest in responding to your request under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The question box on the homepage

The “What are you trying to win?” box does not send anything. Your text stays in your browser and is only copied to your clipboard, so you can paste it into an email yourself.

When you contact me

If you email me, I process the information you send so I can reply and handle your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message relates to a possible or existing contract, and otherwise my legitimate interest in communicating with you under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

My email service provider processes messages for delivery and storage. I keep correspondence only for as long as needed for the conversation and any resulting business relationship. Statutory retention duties may require some records to be kept longer.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can contact me at hi@regnite.io. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, including the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

Is your data required?

You do not have to provide personal data to browse the site beyond the technical data needed to deliver it. If you contact me, I need enough information to respond. I do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
